What can I afford?

It all depends on your household income, as affordability is assessed based on the 40% Net Income Approach.

As a rough estimate the minium household income required to purchase from the last phase was £30,894; however, people with a lower income may be able to secure a property if they have a larger deposit. (i.e. if you have a larger deposit saved, where you have higher savings, your household income can be lower than the figure quoted above).

Shared Ownership is a government-backed scheme which allows first-time buyers – or those who do not currently own a property – the opportunity to purchase a home at a more affordable price.
