Fire Safety

Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility. We maintain homes and buildings to prevent and respond to fire risks.

Fire safety in your rented home is vital for protecting you, your household and your neighbours. As your landlord, we are responsible for managing fire safety in the homes and buildings we own, including maintaining fire safety measures and carrying out checks where required. You also have an important role to play by using your home safely, keeping escape routes clear and following fire safety advice. This page explains what we do to help keep you safe from fire and what you can do to reduce risks in your home.
