Despite a national housing waiting list of more than 1.1 million households, in 2018-2019 it was reported that only 57,485 affordable homes were delivered in England. With demand far outweighing supply, we seek to tackle the severe shortage of affordable housing.

To explain, Shared Ownership is a Government-backed scheme which allows first-time buyers, and those who do not currently own a home, the opportunity to purchase a property at an affordable price.
The scheme works by offering you, the buyer, the opportunity to purchase a share of a property, otherwise known as the ‘share value’. This share value is typically between 25% and 75% of the purchase price and represents how much of the property you own. A discounted rent is then paid on the share of the property not purchased.
