Supporting our customers to access services.
At L&G, we’re committed to ensuring our customers can all access the services they need to. Ways in which we’ll ensure our services are tailored to your needs include:
- Providing our policies and documents in different formats (e.g. Braille) and languages.
- Making sure our website is accessible to anyone who visits. We test our site directly with our customers as well as external partners, and want our site to work for you whether you have a visual, motor or hearing impairment, or are simply using different software. We use WordPress, and as of April 17, 2025, 43.4% of the websites on the internet run on WordPress, which is compatible with most accessibility plug-ins.
- Ensuring there are different ways for you to contact your management provider, such as through My Brolly, by phone or by email. We’ll also ensure you can choose your preferred method of contact.
- Your ability to have a nominated representative to contact us and your management provider on your behalf about the services you need (e.g. reporting a repair). To do this, please contact your management provider in the first instance and we’ll keep your information updated.
- When we’re not restricted by legislation, we’ll give you more time to provide documentation where necessary.
Limitations of this site’s accessibility
We build our content to meet the requirements of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2 (WCAG 2.0) and – where possible – to meet AA conformance but there are some exceptions:
- PDF document content is often generated by third-party software and may not always meet accessibility standards.
Most video content has captions or a transcript, but currently we aren’t able to provide audio description for all of our videos. - While we always aim to communicate clearly and as simply as possible, some of the articles may require a reasonable level of technical understanding due to the nature of what they are about.
