We’ve rounded up our top 10 summer picks that are happening all across London this summer. Underbelly Festival – Throughout August
Returning with a brand new home in Cavendish Square in the heart of Central London’s Oxford Street District, Underbelly Festival is a feast of top-quality live entertainment, atmospheric outdoor bars and premium street food and drink. One of the UK’s top summer festivals, it has been a London cultural icon for over a decade and is London’s original pop-up festival.
Somerset House’s Film4 Summer Screen – Throughout August
Enjoy a summer evening under the stars with the return of Somerset House’s Film4 Summer Screen, the perfect outdoor cinema in the city. Throughout August, there will be various films on show so don’t forget to book your ticket in advance.
London Craft Beer Festival – 13th & 14th August
With over a hundred world class breweries and hundreds more of refreshing beers to choose from, hop along to this year’s London Craft Beer Festival in Tobacco Dock. There are also pop-up kitchens, cider, wine, spirits and no-alc bars and lots of top music acts to enjoy too.
Adventures at Go Ape – Throughout Summer
Ready to monkey around? Head over to a Go Ape location (all around London) to enjoy an afternoon in the treetops and rekindle your sense of adventure… the perfect outdoor family activity!
Butterfly House at the Horniman Museum – Throughout Summer

Bearpit Karaoke – 14th August & 11th September
Oh karaoke, how we’ve missed you! Luckily for us (although maybe not the people who have to listen to us) karaoke is back with a bang in Vauxhall this summer. Originating in Berlin, the ‘capital of cool’, Bearpit Karaoke is an outdoor sing off where the good, the bad and the very, very brave step-up and perform to a crowded amphitheatre. Finally, the stadium audience you always dreamed of!
Festibowl – Throughout Summer
You heard it here first, bowling is now one of London’s coolest pastimes! Throw in some delicious street food, ice cold cocktails and world class DJ’s spinning some classic tunes, and we couldn’t think of a better way to reconnect with our pals this summer.
Summer by the River – Throughout Summer
Summer by the river is back for another glorious three months of arts, entertainment and some of the best food and drink around. This year they’ve transformed the riverside from London Bridge pier to City Hall into a Mediterranean themed paradise; so they’ll be bringing the summer vibes even if the weather doesn’t perform. You can expect everything from fitness classes, salsa dancing and our personal favourite Baraoke; a live music event with the one and only Barry from Eastenders!
Morning Yoga – Weekends throughout Summer
Found 2020 a little stressful? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one! Luckily Sky Garden is opening their idyllic city garden for some relaxing early morning yoga classes. The classes are suitable for all levels so don’t worry if you’re not an expert, we think it’s worth it for the glorious views alone.
