The Deposit Boost can help you move into your new Shared Ownership home with a larger deposit than expected, meaning you can borrow less from a lender and have access to more competitive mortgage rates. For example, if you had already saved 10% deposit, the Deposit Boost will add up to another 5%, give you a final total of 15% deposit.
Having a larger deposit could also make your monthly outgoings lower, saving you more money per month or allowing you to staircase quicker than if you only had a 10% deposit.
